Jensen Ford Lincoln began as a partnership in 1967 between Dwight Burkhart and Bob Jensen. After purchasing the dealership from Fred Mount Motors, a new building was constructed on the current site at 2805 South Center Street. Bob Jensen became sole owner in 1977 and brought his sons into the business. After Bob's retirement in 1992, Kevin and Kendall took over full operation of the business.
Kevin began his automotive career while still in High School working in the Service Department. He had many part-time duties including cleaning-up the shop area and driving the Courtesy Vehicle. After graduating in 1975 from Northwood University in Cedar Hill, Texas, he became a full-time employee.
As with Kevin, Kendall began by working in the Service Department and driving the Courtesy Vehicle. After Graduating in 1978 from Northwood University, Kendall became a full-time employee.
Jensen Ford Lincoln has approximately 35 employees, many of whom have been with the company 20 years or more.  The Jensen family has always put the customer first. They are currently celebrating their 50th anniversary of business in Marshalltown, and are proud of the numerous multi-generational families they have served throughout central Iowa.
Jensen Ford has a complete Parts Department, Service Department and Collision Center, along with New and Used Car Sales. They are ready to meet all of your automotive needs.  Â
