Diesel Mechanic

Jensen Ford is looking for a full-time Diesel Mechanic to perform routine maintenance, diagnostic and service repairs on customer, fleet and dealer owned vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work outlined on the repair order.
• Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed.
• Communicate with the service advisors and parts department.
• Maintain and care for all dealership tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Road test vehicles as needed.
• Maintain accurate records for time, parts, and supplies used.
• Attend service classes and training programs as required for certification and development of skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Stay current with factory technical service bulletins & certifications.
• Always represent our dealership in a professional manner.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for up to 8 hours per day.
• Previous experience repairing diesel vehicles and performing electrical diagnostics.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivation to work independently and as a team.
• Your own set of tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver's license.
